On February 8, 1984, we celebrated a Eucharist for the physical health of the sick who will read these pages. May they unite by faith in this prayer by placing their lives in the hands of Jesus.

Visit them through your Gospel!

Lord Jesus, we believe that you are alive and risen, we believe that you are truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar and in each one of us. We praise you and we adore you. We give you thanks, Lord, for coming to us as the living Bread come down from heaven. You are the fullness of life. You are the resurrection and the life. You are, Lord, the health of the sick. Today we want to present to you all the sick who read this book, for for you there is no distance, neither in time nor in space. You are the eternal present, and you know them.

Now, Lord, we ask you to have compassion on them. Visit them through your Gospel, proclaimed in this book, so that all may acknowledge that you are alive in your Church today and that their faith and their trust in you may be renewed. We beseech you, Jesus, have compassion on those who suffer in their body; on those who suffer in their heart, and on those who suffer in their soul, for they pray and read the testimonies of what you are doing through your renewing Spirit throughout the world. Have compassion on them, Lord. We ask it of you from this very moment. Bless them all, and grant that many recover their health.

May their faith grow and may they open themselves to the wonders of your love. So that they too may be witnesses to your power and your compassion. We ask it of you, Jesus, through the power of your holy wounds, through your holy cross and through your precious blood poured out for us. Heal them, Lord. Heal them in their body. Heal them in their heart. Heal them in their soul. Give them life, life in abundance.
