Obstacle to the grace of healing

Discernment

One of the dangers of the healing ministry is to place one’s trust in this or that person who, it would seem, has a particular power of healing. This is a serious error in the end, for Jesus alone is the health of the sick.

One must never set one’s eyes on the person who has the gift of healing. It is Jesus who has all the power; men are only channels of his grace. Even when medicine obtains a healing for us, God is there acting through science.
